Myra Pilar's Biografy

"Het is al laat op de avond wanneer vanuit de nagenoeg donkere zaal van het Nijmeegse poppodium Merleyn de betoverende stem van Myra Pilar klinkt. Er stromen nog altijd mensen binnen vanuit het voorgedeelte, waar het publiek alvast is opgewarmd met artistieke beelden van de zangeres die op de muur worden geprojecteerd. Aan een uitverkochte zaal presenteert de Nijmeegse muzikante vanavond haar tweede album Finally, dezelfde zaal waar ze ook de eveneens uitverkochte releaseshow van haar eerste album had" - Artikel van 3 voor 12

Myra Pilar is a singer-songwriter originally from Nijmegen, now based in Amsterdam. Her music blends Acoustic Pop with touches of Soul, R&B, and intimate storytelling. With a deep, soulful voice and honest lyrics, she brings raw emotion and groove to every performance.
In 2019, she released her self-titled debut album, followed by her second album Finally in 2023, both presented to sold-out crowds at pop venue Merleyn. That same year, she felt the need for something new. A longing for change, for renewal, and for a space to grow. Settling in the city has ignited a new chapter in her musical journey, marked by growth, visibility, and determination.
On July 24th 2025, Myra released her latest single “24 Seconds”, which she celebrated with her very first live show in Amsterdam. A warm, full-house event that marked her arrival on the local stage.Known for her authenticity, emotional depth, and groove, Myra Pilar continues to grow and draw inspiration. On stage, she connects with her audience through festivals, living room concerts, and intimate shows, always bringing a sense of sincerity and quiet empowerment.
